A small team (sometimes a team of one) building BotShade. From the big product decisions to feature additions to writing blog posts — everyone gets their hands dirty.
BotShade started from a personal frustration — “I want to build a Discord bot without writing code.”
We believe it’s a shame that the joy of building a bot is split by whether you can read or write code. We aim for a tool not for engineers, but for everyone who needs a bot, and we keep writing code toward that goal every week.
On this blog we’ll share development progress, our thinking, small feature stories, and the occasional honest infrastructure-ops misstep — as plainly as we can.
