The New Terms of Service and Privacy Policy Take Effect Today
As of July 27, 2026 (JST), the fully revised Terms of Service and Privacy Policy are in effect. Accordingly, a consent screen for the new terms is shown when you access the dashboard, and dashboard and API features are unavailable until you consent. Bots already running on Discord will not stop.

Scheduled infrastructure maintenance on July 20, 2026
BotShade will undergo scheduled infrastructure maintenance (Part 1) on Monday, July 20, 2026, starting at 13:00 JST for up to four hours. Due to workload and safety considerations, part of the originally-planned work has been split off into a Part 2 window on or after July 28, 2026 (the exact date will be announced separately once fixed). All services, including bot execution, will be paused during the maintenance window, but all customer data will be preserved in full.

Notice of Full Revision of Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
BotShade's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy have been fully revised. The effective date of the new terms is July 27, 2026 (JST). From that date onward, we will ask you to confirm your consent to the new terms on the dashboard.

We refreshed the dashboard and website UI (Editorial design)
We have completely refreshed the BotShade dashboard and website. You can now choose between two design themes, Plum and Editorial, from the settings.

BotShader AI launch and limited preview access
We've launched the "BotShader AI" chat assistant in the dashboard. For the time being, it is available only to a limited set of users who have been granted preview access. We will begin granting access to a select group of users shortly and expand eligibility gradually.

Start of Phase 2 and general availability of custom commands
On Tuesday, May 19, 2026, we completed the migration to Phase 2 and resumed BotShade. Alongside the resumption, custom commands — the headline feature of Phase 2 — are now generally available.

End of Beta and scheduled service maintenance
The current Beta phase ends on Wednesday, May 13, 2026. BotShade will be paused for approximately one week as we transition to Phase 2. Bots will not run during this period, but all customer data will be preserved in full.
